I would like to thank all those brothers who paved the way and made it possible for me to become a member of the best fraternity in the world!

Greetings, I’m Morris Thomas a native of Detroit, MI. and a proud member of the “Legendary” Zeta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. where “Legends” are born and not made. I currently serve my chapter as the President, Membership chair and Panhellinic Council Representative. I am a graduating senior, music major with a concentration in vocal performance. I play a very active role at Morris Brown College. I am currently the Senior class President, Treasurer for the National Panhellinic Council, an assistant R.A, the chief editor of the Time Signature (the official music department’s newsletter). I am also a member of the following:

Albert Edmond’s Leadership Program

Gospel Choir

Michigan Club

I have been a Dean’s List student every semester and manage to effectively participate in all of these activities and maintain a 3.82 cumulative GPA. I also serve as a mentor for incoming vocal performance majors, a new student orientation leader, and a student ambassador for this great institution. In all that I do I exemplify Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service. I will attend graduate school upon completion of my B.A and go on to earn a Ph.D in Education Administration. I believe that where is no vision the people will perish.

Extraordinary Highlights: Morris has sung with two professional opera companies (The Capitol City Opera Company and The Americolor Opera Alliance.)

Church Involvement: While at school in Atlanta, Morris Attends Total Grace Christian Center in Decatur, GA. When at home in Detroit, Morris attends Faith Tabernacle Church in Highland Park, MI. Where his father is the pastor.
